Personal Injury Diagnostics for Jacksonville Attorneys

Physician-reviewed brain injury testing for your clients, through their treating provider.

Mild brain injury claims often rest on symptoms the client describes but the record barely mentions. Braintree adds standardized, physician-reviewed testing to the medical record, performed at the treating provider's office anywhere in Northeast Florida.

The documentation gap

A normal scan is not the end of the story

A client in a multi-vehicle crash on I-295 may leave the emergency department with clear imaging and a discharge sheet. Weeks later they report headaches and trouble keeping up at work. Imaging is built to rule out bleeding or fracture, not to measure those complaints, and the medical record can stay thin.

Standardized testing adds physician-reviewed information to the record. It does not decide a case or guarantee a diagnosis. It documents what the testing shows. See documentation in concussion PI cases for background.

Northeast Florida reach

Clients across five counties

Jacksonville firms often represent clients from Yulee to Middleburg to Ponte Vedra. When a client cannot easily travel, appointments get missed and the medical picture stalls. Because Braintree tests at the treating provider's office, the client goes where they already receive care.

If a client does not yet have a treating provider, we can talk through options on a 15-minute call. More on our attorney page.

Questions

Jacksonville attorney questions

Can an attorney order testing directly?

Testing is arranged through the client's treating provider. We explain the process on a 15-minute call. Nothing on this site is legal advice.

Will testing help my client's case?

We cannot promise any result. Testing reports what it finds, and findings vary from person to person.

Does Braintree have an office in Jacksonville?

No. Braintree is a mobile service. Testing takes place at the treating provider's office in the Jacksonville area. Braintree is based in the Tampa area and serves all of Florida.

How soon is the report ready?

Timing varies with scheduling, case complexity, and receipt of complete information. We give a realistic expectation when the visit is scheduled.

Do you cover St. Augustine and Fernandina clients?

Yes. Braintree serves all of Florida, including St. Johns County and Nassau County.

Who you work with

Ben Thayer, Co-Founder and Co-Owner, coordinates provider and attorney relationships.

Dr. Jon Kimball, MD, Co-Founder, Clinical Lead, oversees the clinical side of Braintree's physician-reviewed reports.

Testing, not treatment

Braintree's testing is diagnostic. It is not treatment, not emergency care, and not legal advice. Testing does not guarantee a diagnosis or any case outcome. The treating provider stays in charge of care.

If this is a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Mobile testing is scheduled through the treating provider and is not a substitute for emergency care.
