Brain Injury Diagnostics for Tampa Personal Injury Cases

Standardized testing, physician-reviewed reports, our home market. We diagnose. You treat.

Braintree is based in the Tampa area. When a Tampa Bay client reports headaches, memory trouble, or fogginess after a crash, testing can be arranged through the client's treating provider and performed at that provider's office.

Why attorneys call us

When the ER visit was normal but the client is not

Many Tampa Bay clients leave the emergency room with a normal CT scan and are told to follow up. Weeks later they describe trouble at work, poor sleep, or headaches that will not settle. A normal scan does not rule out a concussion, and our article on normal CT scans in Tampa Bay PI cases explains why.

Braintree performs standardized testing at the treating provider's office and returns a physician-reviewed report to that provider. The provider decides how to use it in care. We do not give legal advice and we cannot promise any finding or case result.

Because the team is local, scheduling across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco is usually simpler here than anywhere else we serve.

Questions

Tampa PI diagnostics questions

Can an attorney order testing directly?

Testing is arranged through the client's treating provider. We explain the process on a 15-minute call. Nothing on this site is legal advice.

Will testing help my client's case?

We cannot promise any result. Testing reports what it finds, and findings vary from person to person.

How soon is the report ready?

Timing varies with scheduling, case complexity, and receipt of complete information. We give a realistic expectation when the visit is scheduled.

Is Braintree's office open to clients?

No. Braintree is a mobile service based in the Tampa area. Testing happens at the treating provider's office.

Does Braintree treat patients?

No. Braintree is diagnostic only. The treating provider stays in charge of care and decides next steps.

Who you work with

Ben Thayer, Co-Founder and Co-Owner, coordinates provider and attorney relationships.

Dr. Jon Kimball, MD, Co-Founder, Clinical Lead, oversees the clinical side of Braintree's physician-reviewed reports.

Testing, not treatment

Braintree's testing is diagnostic. It is not treatment, not emergency care, and not legal advice. Testing does not guarantee a diagnosis or any case outcome. The treating provider stays in charge of care.

If this is a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Mobile testing is scheduled through the treating provider and is not a substitute for emergency care.
