Concussion After a Crash in Sarasota or Bradenton: Signs to Watch
Seasonal traffic on US-41 and I-75 brings more crashes. Here are concussion signs to watch for and how testing is arranged.
From January to April, traffic on US-41, I-75 and University Parkway grows sharply in Sarasota and Manatee counties. More traffic means more rear-end and side-impact collisions.
A concussion does not require hitting your head. A sudden jolt can move the brain inside the skull. Watch for headaches, dizziness, memory trouble, mood changes and sensitivity to light or noise.
Treating providers in Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Venice and North Port can arrange Braintree testing at their office. The physician-reviewed diagnostic report gives them objective information to guide care.
Braintree provides testing, not treatment or rehab. Recovery planning stays with your treating provider.
